Desmos Fun Math
Initially my friend wanted some help with a math assignment she was given. And I helped her use Desmos since she didn’t have graph paper. She had to translate, reflect and rotate 6 points on a graph which with those 6 points or more needed to create an image in which I suggested a heart since it used exactly 6. I showed her and helped her with her assignment. She stopped after she finished but I did not, I made it into inequalities so it could be shaded. It’s a very simple thing yet it was very fun.
This is the resulting product above before shading which after doing so I realized a few things I didn’t notice before. When rotating from the 3rd quadrant to the 4th, the translated version in quadrant 2 from original has the same value coordinates except x and y values are switched. It was fascinating. I also added images before the inequalities were added onto it. It was fascinating to do.
The button with link above is from the Desmos graph in where the equations to the inequalities are shown as well as the hearts on the graph.
